AMERICAN FAA COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE COURSE
As on March 31, 2011 we have trained more than 3000 students. The Skyline Aviation Club conducts AMERICAN FAA COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE COURSE under supervision, guidance and teaching faculty administered by certified pilot ground instructors by Federal Aviation Administration Govt. of USA. The professional pilot course is designed as per the FAA requirements consisting private pilot License syllabus under FAR 61.105 (a) 1 through 5, Commercial Pilot License as per syllabus under FAR 61.125 (a) 1 through 4 and Instrument rating as per syllabus of FAR 61.65 (b) 1 through 4. On completion of this course the student will receive Instructors Endorsement Certificate; in accordance with the requirements of Federal Aviation Regulations 61.35 (A) duly signed by FAA certified pilot Ground Instructor with appropriate license number as per FAR, part 143.3 (B) authorizing the instructor to teach and certify.
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the syllabus of an AMERICAN FAA COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE COURSE .This course helps Indian students wanting to finish their Pilots Training in USA by saving time and money in the USA. Prospective students can avail the facility of theoretical training before departing to the USA. The training/coaching will be imparted by a qualified instructor Authorized and approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Govt. of USA. On completion of the course, the student will be certified to appear for written examinations of FAA, Govt. of USA as per the American FAA laws.
As per FAR, part 141.101 Appendix A, C and D, minimum ground coaching hours for AMERICAN FAA COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE COURSE is 165 hours, which will be split as follows :
For PPL 35 hours
For IR 30 hours
For CPL 100 hours
Total: 165 hours
In USA, the fees for AMERICAN FAA COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE THEORY COURSE is US $ 5,000/- which will take three months time which will add lodging/boarding expenses to US $ 3,000/-.To cut down the expenses, students, while in India, before departing to USA, can avail the facility of AMERICAN FAA COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE THEORY COURSE at less than half fees.
Students completing the course will be issued a certificate of authorization to appear for FAA USA Pilots written exams in USA. Hence students don’t need to repeat the course in the USA. Accordingly, the American student Pilots License and American Class - 1 Medical Test Certificate required for trainee pilots will be arranged on completion of the course in Bombay and the above certificates will help students in obtaining VISA. The medium of instruction will be English.
Candidates not holding admission letter / I-20 Form will be guided to contact the concerned approved flight training school to obtain detailed information on Admission/I-20 Form in American Flight Schools. Such information/guidance is not a part of this course. Assistance regarding travel arrangements, obtaining visa will be provided to the student
Duration: 1 year [2 months theory + 10 months practical flight training]
Eligibility:
(a) Age :- Minimum : 17 years Maximum : 35 years
(b) Academic Qualification: 12th (Any Stream) Passed or Appeared
Note : For the purpose of conversion of AMERICAN FAA COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE into Indian Commercial Pilot’s License candidate should hold minimum academic qualification of 12th Passed with Physics and Mathematics or equivalent Diploma or Certificate at the time of application for Indian Commercial Pilot’s License. Students holding 12th pass certificate from Arts, Commerce or General stream will be required to appear for examinations in Physics and mathematics from National Institute of Open School (NIOS) New Delhi.
